Pretending to be a mystery.
Yeah, I was thinking of talking about mysteries today, but I'm gonna talk about something else. The title is 'Cuticle Detective Inaba'. If you just saw the title, you might think it's a mystery. But you know, it's about cuticles (lol). It's been adapted into an anime before, so some of you might know it, but it's a gag manga. There's hardly any detective work (lol). It's just a gag manga, but you can learn a lot about cuticles and goats. I learned how to dry my hair from this (lol). Goats haven't been useful so far. Anyway, it's a gag manga, so it might cheer you up when you're feeling down. Yeah, maybe (lol). It features all sorts of quirky characters like cuticle nerds, dog lovers, cat lovers, goat enthusiasts, and doting dads. I'm definitely not a hair fetishist, but there's this mysterious learning effect where you naturally become knowledgeable about cuticles after reading it. Oh, but towards the end, the story itself gets pretty serious... serious? Is it serious...? Well, anyway, if you're interested, give it a try when you're feeling down. You'll surely learn a lot about cuticles.

The Endless Scarlet
I watched it on Hulu today, so let's talk about it right away. I'll be careful not to include any spoilers. Honestly, I didn't have much prior information, only knowing who voiced Scarlet, so I was first taken aback by the world-building. I started thinking a lot, wondering if this is the kind of image Mamoru Hosoda has in mind. Anyway, Princess Scarlet was originally an ordinary girl, kind of... or maybe just normal, or perhaps a bit too soft-hearted, I don't know. And Sei felt very modern, so I was like, 'Ah, I see.' (lol) There were songs and dances, and I watched it with great interest. I thought it might be a coming-of-age story for Scarlet, but I wonder? In the end, I felt it was a bit different from just growing up. Well, I think whatever the viewer feels is the correct interpretation, so that's just how I felt. And somehow, I ended up crying a little at the end. It wasn't exactly 'moving,' but more like being overwhelmed by emotions... perhaps? Yeah, maybe my heart was stirred. Personally, it was a work I'm glad I watched. Sorry if this text is confusing because I'm trying to avoid spoilers. Thank you if you read this.

What should I do today?
Well, what shall I do today? I do write short stories here and there, or write something for my hobby, but the character limit here is 500 characters, so it's a bit too short to post. So, it'll be some kind of story (lol). Now (second time), it's finally getting cooler, isn't it? I'm the type of person who reads scary stories limited to summer, with a horror vibe. However, I find it hard to get into Fuyumi Ono's horror novels. I've heard they're quite scary. I'm a scaredy-cat who found the manga version of "Ghost Hunt" pretty frightening, so I imagine the novel would be even scarier, making it hard to pick up. I mean, I do want to read them. But if I read them, I'll definitely have nightmares…! I even had nightmares from the manga version around "Urato"! While the characters are unique and it's not just scary, it's still scary…! I can't go into details because it would be a spoiler (lol). My goal is to actually read the novels someday during the summer. Oh, but I love mysteries separately. I think I'm a bit of a novice, but I do read various mystery novels. Yeah, next time let's talk about mysteries. Someday (lol).

Today~.
Today was a day where my plans got completely messed up from early morning because my daughter wasn't feeling well~. Well, some days are like that, right? And for some reason, my home Wi-Fi is also acting up, and I'm not really in the mood to read or write novels either. Yeah, I'm just accepting that some days are like this~. Alright, let's talk about something I like. 『The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious』 is getting an anime adaptation soon~, I'm looking forward to it. I love the original web novel, the light novel, and the manga (lol). It starts off as a typical villainess trope story, but I like how the villainess can get her revenge while still being the villainess. I won't spoil anything, but if you're interested, give one of them a read~. It's also not that long, which is nice. The manga is only 6 volumes. I'm quite fond of stories where the villain stays true to their villainous nature and succeeds. I also like 『To Eat Poison, Eat the Plate』, but be warned, it's BL, so if you're not into that, be careful. It starts off as a normal trope, so you might be fooled if you read it without knowing... maybe (lol). There are other stories I like where villains just keep being villains, but since this is getting long, I'll talk about them again if I feel like it. Yeah, that's all for today~. Thanks for reading~.
