PERFECT HUMAN
"I'm a perfect human." It's no exaggeration to say I sing because I can say this one line!! I'll tell you the three reasons why I absolutely must sing this song first when I go to karaoke with my friends. Reason ① "Warms up your throat" The part "Dedicate that blood and soul now" in PERFECT HUMAN is especially high-pitched, so it's a good workout. Though, it's like running a 100m dash without any warm-up exercises 🙄. Reason ② "Everyone knows it" Maybe because it's impactful, everyone knows it, so when you get to the chorus, they'll hype you up by saying "I know this song." When you're tired, you can also just push the "I'm a perfect human" part onto the person next to you ✨ Reason ③ "It'll turn out okay no matter what" Maybe it's the cool yet funny vibe, but even if you go into falsetto or hit the wrong notes, you keep singing, and it's funny to others. If you say, "Well, this is about how the beginning goes ( ー`дー´)キリッ," people will follow along, which is very convenient. From the above points, I recommend PERFECT HUMAN. Everyone, give it a try too 👍

Japanese Rice is the World's Best
Let me introduce you to Takobits Gokokudokoukai! Despite being a well-known trio band for 20 years, they're somehow still labeled as 'indie,' which is a bit confusing (?). Their songs are all about everyday life that I think anyone can relate to, and they call their genre 'life-centric loud rock.' The song mentioned in the title was apparently inspired by the leader, Chairman Osawa, who ate some incredibly delicious rice in Niigata and spontaneously wrote it. They shout out everything from rice bowls to various set meals, and even specific brands of rice from different regions. Images of rice bowls and set meals play along with the song, and it'll make your stomach rumble while you listen (lol). It's a divine track that gets the crowd headbanging along during live shows! They also have a music video on YouTube, so I really hope you'll check it out.

Don't Die!
Today, I'm introducing Kono Kento-san's song 'Don't Die!!' This song was released before Kono Kento-san's 'Hai Yorokonde' and was apparently written for himself. Σ(゚Д゚) So Kono Kento-san also had a period of life struggles! The biggest appeal of this song is undoubtedly its rhythm! Despite the title 'Don't Die!', it's not filled with despair or a sense of loss. Its very rhythmical and bright rhythm is captivating! My favorite phrase is definitely the line 'Think of three wishes.' It feels like it's saying, 'Don't live because others will be sad,' but rather, 'Live to clear up the lingering regrets you have in this world,' which I really like. It makes me realize again that humans live to do what they love. This is my third post on Ongaku Cross, but I have almost no musical knowledge and can only talk about the rhythm and my favorite lines 😓 I wish I had more to say. Please tell me what you like about the songs!

There's Always Tomorrow - Let's Go with Georgia Edition
The song I'm introducing today is "There's Always Tomorrow - Let's Go with Georgia Edition"!! This is a reward song for me on days when I've made a big mistake, when I have assignments to do, or just for getting through today. When I listen to it, I feel like it's a song that gives me hope for the future, saying, "Well, today's over, I can just try again tomorrow!" (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ I especially like the lyrics in the fourth verse: "One day I suddenly thought Why am I working so hard? For my family For myself The answer is in the wind" At first glance, it sounds like pretty dark lyrics, but with the line "The answer is in the wind," I used to think that when you're searching for something, it's usually in the "darkness." I felt like it's saying that the reason for my existence isn't in the difficult things, the "darkness," but in the bright things, the "wind." This is a song I want everyone to listen to, whether you had a bad day today or if you're someone who just wants to say, "Great job on getting through today!" even if nothing special happened.

This is Kakeru-chan, a resident of the message board.
Today, I'd like to introduce Kakeru-chan, a resident of the message board. Her real name is Kakeru Kokoro (心 駆). If you cross all the paths of a late-night Shibuya Scramble Crossing while listening to music, without actually crossing it, space will suddenly warp and you'll be invited to the intersection where she resides, 'Ongaku Cross (The Intersection of People and Exchange)'. Her personality and other details are unknown. She appears cool on the outside but is actually quite expressive with her emotions. Her name, 'Kakeru', sometimes leads people to mistakenly think she's a boy. Her charm point is her three primary color headphones. Her way of speaking is generally calm, but when it comes to music, perhaps due to being unaccustomed to interacting with people, she sometimes slips into casual speech. Then, perhaps flustered by the thought 'I should speak politely,' she adds polite endings like '...desu' or '...masu' to the end of her sentences, resulting in slightly awkward phrases like, 'That's really good... I think.' or 'I think that's good... I do.' That's the introduction. If you talk about songs you like, or call out to her as 'Kakeru', she'll likely respond, so please give her your kind attention.🙇

secret base〜The Thing You Gave Me〜
Hey everyone! I'm Komeko, your admin! Welcome to 'Ongaku Cross (Sound & Interaction Bulletin Board)'! The song I'm introducing today is "secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~"! It's the theme song from the TV anime "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" and is characterized by its poignant yet beautiful melody. The highlight of this song isn't just the chorus... it's actually the moment the music stops right before the chorus (nicknamed the 'break'). In the original song, it flows smoothly into the chorus, but the anime theme version incorporates an eighth rest. That moment feels like time stops, and the dynamic shift leading into the chorus is so well done. I absolutely love it and listen to it often. My favorite lyric is "You called out to me, 'Let's go home together.'" It perfectly depicts the person who mustered the courage to speak and the person who was so happy to receive that gesture. The inversion of "You called out to me" and "Let's go home together" makes it particularly memorable. Please give it a listen m(_ _)m
