About Fusion Evolution and "Rank-Up Fusion Evolution"

In PuniPuni, "Fusion" is unlocked when you become friends with Jinmenken. You can evolve妖怪 (yokai) by fusing妖怪 (yokai) and items, or妖怪 (yokai) and妖怪 (yokai) using the same fusion recipes as in the main Yo-kai Watch series (1-3). Be very careful when fusing, as the stats of the妖怪 (yokai) used as fusion material are generally not carried over to the evolved妖怪 (yokai). However, PuniPuni has another type of fusion evolution. That is... "the type of evolution where the appearance of the evolved妖怪 (yokai) hardly changes and only the rank increases" (stats are basically reset). I have named this "Rank-Up Fusion Evolution". "Rank-Up Fusion Evolution" often requires special materials.
