Recently I've been wanting to listen to old game music
I've been searching for and listening to songs from that era on YouTube, like Libble Rabble and Dragon Spirit, but I feel like the original tracks are a bit lacking now. Maybe it's because of nostalgia bias, or perhaps my ears have become too accustomed to modern game music. On the other hand, I haven't really found any arrangement versions that hit the spot either. Guess I'll just have to enhance the imagery in my brain lol

I totally get it! I've also looked for game music and felt nostalgic! I wonder if there are any masterpieces in recent games? Still Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy! The other day, there was even a special program about Chrono Trigger! Super Mario was there too? It's surprisingly hard to remember! Feels like there was something else? But reminiscing is the most relaxing thing!

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of old Falcom game music. I think the fun way to enjoy it isn't by listening to the originals with current sensibilities, but by recalling the feelings from when I first heard them. Well, for games like Ys and Sorcerian, I remember there were quite a few arrangements back then, and it felt good that they were constantly being updated. Everyone enjoys things differently, so this is just for reference.
