About the job interview๐ŸŒน

Back in my day, we often got questions like this: 'If you were to compare yourself to an object, what would it be?' "A lubricant! Lubricant! Slippery smooth!" 'So oily~ With this, even a clumsy gear like me would probably turn smoothly~โ™ช' ใ€Ž

Greetings. I shall now present my usual response. I've only ever been asked this question by one company, however. 'If you were to be compared to an object, what would you be?' 'I do not understand the intent of your question. From the moment I was born, I was a product manufactured by my parents. Humans are discarded when they die; all are disposable objects.' 'Hearing you say that so definitively is rather frightening.' I failed. This is a scene from a job interview during the 'employment ice age' when we were told that if you were picked up, overtime was natural, and if you could be used, working until you die was natural. During interview practice, I was even told to say, 'Please use me until I break.' That was the era... (gazes into the distance)

Dear ABA, how are you doing today? ๐ŸŒน Regarding the interview question... it was so long ago, I've completely forgotten what I answered! ๐Ÿ˜‚ So, if I were asked now, this would be my response: "I am a cane. I wish to be a cane that prevents falls, a cane that supports those who are about to fall or have already fallen."

ABA, greetings๐ŸŒน Due to my circumstances, I only have experience with part-time jobs, but I was asked a similar question back then and this is how I answered. "I am a weed. I can live anywhere, but if I'm stepped on, I'll wilt once. However, I'll bounce back quickly. I always think that I want to be a being that can be used many times like this." Well, I failed spectacularly, but their response at the time was: "It would be a problem if you didn't wilt." That's true though!! It is true though!!

Greetings๐ŸŒน I used to get those kinds of questions a lot back in my day... If I had to compare it to an object, it's not the 'correct' answer, but back then I might have said, 'I want to be like a ladle or a pot that can scoop out what's needed, when it's needed.' But now, I think maybe something like a skimmer that can efficiently scoop out only what's necessary? That would be good~ What was popular back when I was active was 'How do I sell something useless for 10,000 yen?'... I got asked that so much...

Hello ABA๐ŸŒนโœจ I've never been asked such a question before... I apologize for not being able to join in when everyone else says 'That's so true' ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ’ฆ If I were asked such a question, how would I answer... Hmm, perhaps sandpaperโ“ Because even friends or colleagues who were irritated calmed down while listening to me, I'd mean it in the sense of 'smoothing out the rough edges'. Is that an acceptable answerโ“ I'm not used to this, sorryใ‚๐Ÿ˜–
