Mysterious Local Rules
Looking at the profiles of people getting angry in the investment chat, it seems this app's in-game community has accumulated local rules over many years. A clear example is 'No "Please invest in me" in the investment declaration chat.' This is understandable because there are separate chats for investment recruitment, and it's a nuisance if such people mix in when adding friends to receive investments. Also, 'no lingering,' which refers to staying on the friend list without investing and preventing others from investing (though I assume they don't mean any harm). However, there's a term called 'omukae' (お迎え), which apparently signifies bad manners, even though I, having played for quite a while, don't know what it means. The literal meaning doesn't give any clues, so what could it be? If there are other 'landmine' behaviors that vary from person to person, please let me know.

I used to play the 'Ship Pig App'. (I don't play it anymore) Back then, I interpreted 'Muka' (お迎え) as a friend request. So, I believe 'Muka NG' means 'No Friend Requests'. However, this was also confusing... I was confused by people who had 'I will invest' (投資します) but 'Muka NG' in their nickname field. (As a result, I didn't send friend requests to avoid trouble.) It's been quite a while since I quit, so the rules might have changed... 💦 Sorry if I'm mistaken.

I saw it in the in-game help chat before, and it seemed to mean something like a high-production player sending a friend request to a lower-production player. You might get a more accurate answer by asking directly in the in-game help chat.

When I checked the previous chat, I understood 'omukae' to mean adding a friend, and 'omukae x (NG)' meant maintaining the friendship! They said they write that because they want to keep friend slots open for gacha pulls, with a maximum of 10 friends for free-to-play players.

AuthorI see. It's possible that people are actually using 'omukae' (summoning/recruiting) with different meanings, isn't it?
