Touken Ranbu Knowledge [About Empty Slots in Formation]
Sometimes when you look at formations, you might see something like this screenshot: 1. Leader 2. Empty 3. Unit 1 4. Empty 5. Unit 2 6. Empty There's a good reason for this setup: it's to reduce the number of units that can be hit by an enemy's Odachi (大太刀) attack. An Odachi's attack range is one selected target plus up to two adjacent targets, meaning it can hit a maximum of three units. By leaving slots empty, you can prevent your adjacent units from being hit by the enemy Odachi's attack. So, when you don't fill all the slots in your formation, use the empty spaces to spread out your units. Of course, if you want units to take hits, like for a True Sword Critical (真剣必殺), you can arrange them side-by-side.

There are ways like this too, huh? I've been a Saniwa for a long time but never knew about this... If they've reached 'Kioku' (極), are they strong enough to be sufficient like this? My own citadel got stuck at Ikedaya for years because it was too scary, so I don't have any 'Kioku' yet... I finally cleared Ikedaya with all my might the other day, and now Imanotsurugi has gone for training...

Whoa… Thank you…! ( ̄▽ ̄) I'll take your advice and give it my best! Just to confirm, when you reach 'Extreme' or 'Ultimate' (극), you start from level 1, right? The EXP I had at level 99 was accumulated, and then after reaching 'Extreme', that accumulated EXP is used to level up… is that correct? Sorry to bother you again.
