Touken Ranbu Knowledge [Accumulated EXP]
Regarding accumulated EXP. When a Touken Danshi reaches level 99 (Tokubetsu state), their level will no longer increase. However, the EXP is still internally accumulated and can be viewed by tapping or clicking on the Touken Danshi in the formation screen, as shown in the screenshot. *If you consider the timing of sending them for training (Shugyo), you could refer to the state up to level 99 (Tokubetsu) as accumulated EXP, but to avoid confusion: The benefit of accumulating EXP is that it reflects on their level after they return from training. Generally, stats increase after training, but for some swords, looking at the Attack and Agility stats specifically might show a practical decrease, which can be a disadvantage. Therefore, if you want to use them as a frontline fighter immediately after training, it's recommended to accumulate some EXP beforehand. *For Kiwame (Extreme) Tantou (short swords), you can generally send them for training at level 99 (Tokubetsu). They will return at level 35 (Kiwame) and be ready for immediate use, so don't hesitate to send them. Personally, I think it's good to accumulate enough EXP for them to reach level 50 (Kiwame) otherwise.

I also send my swordsmen to training after they've gained enough experience before their actual training! It's easy to level up TantÅ and Wakizashi, but Ådachi and Tachi are quite difficult...ðŠ Once they reach 'Kiwami' (極), Ådachi and Tachi become weaker, making it hard to put them in my main squad anymore ð ðŠ
