My friend apparently quit their job

Congrats. Especially since it was a black company, congrats. I heard a lot about them getting chewed out for small things at work, so it's truly cause for celebration. They're looking dejected and tired, with a sense of melancholy. To my friend, though I know you won't see this: Thanks for quitting. Things might get a little easier for you now.
