Not a Manga-Sized Portion, but a "Folktale-Sized" Portion
This is the 'Adult Lunch Plate' I just ate after my health check-up. Normally, a large portion costs an extra 100 yen, but since I don't eat much rice, I just ordered the regular Adult Lunch Plate. And this is what came out. I told the owner, 'This isn't just a large portion, it's like something out of a manga!', and he replied with a huge smile, 'It's not manga-sized, it's "folktale-sized"!' Of course, they didn't charge me the extra for a large portion. Just how big *is* their large portion!? He said his motto is: 'I want to make food that makes people smile.' 'I'll do my best so that 'delicious!' sparks conversation.' I think I found a gem of a restaurant... Ah, but next time, I'll ask for a 'small rice portion'.

That's a manga-level serving size (lol)! If this is the regular size, I wonder how big the large is... It looks delicious too, like they just packed it with all their favorite side dishes.
