Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, but since I have work, we celebrated today. Took a commemorative photo with a bear in place of my husband 📸. The cake is from my husband's favorite shop. I originally wanted to buy a Gâteau Nantais, but they didn't have it today, so I got the seasonal sweet potato cream puff and a Mont Blanc (Tarte aux Marrons is the product name at the shop). The cream puff was truly delicious… it was the best… I'm so glad I bought it… Eating delicious food makes me very happy, but at the same time, I feel lonely that we can't share the 'This is delicious!' laughter together.

Ah, as the title says, I've always felt that the smell of black truffles is similar to gasoline, so I've never really appreciated truffle salt or anything flavored with truffle. HOWEVER, these crackers made me think truffle scent smells delicious for the first time!!! They were apparently clearing out inventory, piled up at my supermarket for a super cheap 120 yen, but I could really taste both the truffle and the bacon, and they were incredibly delicious. The portion is generous, and the bag even has a zip closure. I think they're a really great value snack, so if you see them, definitely give them a try.

I like to enjoy it little by little with snacks, pairing them with food. Even though I like sake, I can't drink that much though. Sake is delicious. Don't think everyone drinks it all down rapidly（●｀ε´●） - that's what I want to tell the world. Festivals like this, where you can try different sakes little by little, are so much fun!

Hey everyone, do you like Pokémon? Of course, I love them! ...But honestly, the anime ended with Ash and Brock for me, and I've barely played the main games! I did play one of them, Ruby or Emerald, up to a certain point, but my son took it from me (apparently, his ace back then was a Level 49 Skarmory). However, I've sneakily installed the spin-off games on my phone and am still playing Sleep, Masters, and Champions while spending money. Sleep, I just can't quit... When I was on leave due to depression and couldn't sleep even with sleeping pills, just the thought of 'wanting to help Snorlax sleep' made me try to lie down, and I gradually started to be able to sleep a little. So, about Champions. Can you guys win? I totally can't! Because I don't know Pokémon very well! Still, recently, I've started to win sometimes by chance. My current best team is as shown in the photo. It changes often, but my constant favorites are Sylveon and Inteleon ❤ I really love Inteleon ❤ If you see me around, be nice to me. Don't use Pokémon like Gholdengo, okay? ❤

I found something called Kurishochu (chestnut shochu) and couldn't resist buying it. I know it might be a hit or miss, but I absolutely love it❤ The faint sweet aroma of chestnuts when you open the lid is just wonderful. I mixed it with water at a 1:1 ratio, and maybe because barley is the base, it's incredibly smooth to drink. As you swallow, a faint chestnut-like aroma rises. This has become a favorite. Since dinner was hot pot, it felt even more refreshing and delicious. I tend to buy unusual things when I find them… Gotta be careful not to drink too much.

There's a game called Touken Ranbu, and I've been a super casual Saniwa since a little before the smartphone version was released. I'm so casual that it's our little secret that I've been playing for ages but still haven't cleared Kyoto ㊙ And among the Touken Danshi in Touken Ranbu, there's a greatsword user named 'Hotarumaru' who looks like a child. He's so cute in his outfit that's a bit like a military uniform. This Hotarumaru is enshrined at Aso Shrine in Kumamoto (though it's a replica restored through crowdfunding), and there's also a sake named after Hotarumaru. It's made by Tsujun Brewery in Mashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture. Does the place name ring a bell? It's an area that suffered immense damage from earthquakes, both last time and this time, and Tsujun Brewery was also affected. So, what's better than supporting recovery efforts while enjoying my hobby? That's the otaku way, of course. I ended up buying three types of Hotarumaru sake and 'Semi' to drink chilled. The sake is sweet and very smooth, but what's especially noteworthy is the Hotarumaru amazake (sweet rice drink)! It's the best! I think everyone in the world should try it! (Maybe a bit of an exaggeration) It was a great sake.

Last week, I attended the Niigata Sake Festival. On my way back, I stopped by Echigo-Yuzawa Station and had lunch. It was the "Tare Katsu Donburi Curry Ver.", a local specialty? It was delicious~ But the katsu was so hot that I burned my mouth. The rice was said to be new Koshihikari. I got to taste the seasonal harvest~

I love going out for lunch, but for dinner, I basically cook and eat at home. Why? Because you can't drink alcohol outside! So, here's a dish I made that pairs exceptionally well with drinks. On the left is stir-fried chicken and 'ナーベラー' (Nabe-ra) with spicy miso. Do you know what 'Nabe-ra' is? It's luffa, that sponge gourd. I only knew it was used dried for scrubbing in the bath until someone from a roast chicken shop in Okinawa told me about it. Just peel it and stir-fry, super easy! No need to blanch, perfect! It has a slightly grassy vegetable aroma and a fluffy texture like tofu, which is quite addictive. On the right is chashu pork, marinated for two days and slow-cooked for four hours. This is just for my own satisfaction; I just wanted to show off my effort. By the way, today I'm making twice-cooked pork with cabbage I got cheap, and I'll also be simmering some daikon radish I bought cheaply until it's super tender in the pressure cooker. It's happiness to be able to eat delicious food deliciously.

This is the 'Adult Lunch Plate' I just ate after my health check-up. Normally, a large portion costs an extra 100 yen, but since I don't eat much rice, I just ordered the regular Adult Lunch Plate. And this is what came out. I told the owner, 'This isn't just a large portion, it's like something out of a manga!', and he replied with a huge smile, 'It's not manga-sized, it's "folktale-sized"!' Of course, they didn't charge me the extra for a large portion. Just how big *is* their large portion!? He said his motto is: 'I want to make food that makes people smile.' 'I'll do my best so that 'delicious!' sparks conversation.' I think I found a gem of a restaurant... Ah, but next time, I'll ask for a 'small rice portion'.

I don't usually eat cup noodles, but when I heard about the My Hero Academia collaboration, I excitedly bought them. This photo is from the day the collaboration products were released. I bought 8 more today. Well, actually? Actually? Of course, I want all the designs? But still... Isn't 33 different illustrations a bit much? I gave up on getting all of them~ For now, I got two of the protagonist's and my absolute favorite, 'Fumikage Tokoyami🐦⬛' packaging. Tokoyami-kun rarely gets merchandise. I'd cry tears of joy if there was a two-shot with Hawks. Also, I made sure to get packages of characters like Koda and Sato, who don't usually get featured on the packaging. Oh, and I was so happy to see Star and Stripes! All in all, I think I bought about 20 out of the 33 patterns. I worked hard. Last week, I wasn't feeling well and couldn't cook properly, so these were a lifesaver. Thanks, Nissin! By the way, will they release a Cup Noodle with SixTONES packaging? I'll gladly collect them all again... I really love Laksa.
