Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

It's an isekai dungeon story, but unlike typical 'isekai-web novel' style series, this anime has a fresh premise where the protagonists are incredibly weak, struggling even to defeat goblins. The story realistically depicts their journey of contemplating what they need to do to survive as weak individuals and grow, yet they find it hard to become stronger. Due to the protagonists' weakness, there's no exhilarating sense of rapid progress, but instead, the charm lies in the meticulously depicted emotions and inner thoughts at a slow pace. Each battle carries a sense of tension and a peculiar raw realism. I really loved how the story progressed to a point where the protagonists had to confront and deal with a harsh reality! It's a work with a light and beautiful watercolor-like art style! Highly recommended!
