『PSYCHO-PASS』 Series

A work set in a dystopian Japan managed by a system, where all citizens have their 'Crime Coefficient' quantified, and are judged or labeled as latent criminals based on that number, even if they haven't committed a crime. I really love how the protagonist, Akane Tsunemori, who was a rookie detective, gradually becomes stronger while dealing with 'psychopath' criminals. The story unfolds to reveal the truth about society itself and the system, and the new concepts revealed, especially in the final episodes of the first season and the end of the second season, are incredibly interesting! With AI developing rapidly today, the thought that such a society might come to be in the distant future is a bit chilling. It's a series filled with both intense and thought-provoking scenes! Highly recommended!
