Gyeongju 1 Night 2 Days Trip Review 1
You need to set aside 1 night and 2 days for a family trip to Gyeongju, known as the ancient capital. Gyeongju, which you can't see in just one day, is divided into the old city area and the new Gyeongju area. To travel back in time, it's convenient to base your movements around Daereungwon. Also, parking in Gyeongju is well-equipped and easy to find, but most of it is paid, so keep that in mind. Don't forget that it's convenient to start your Gyeongju trip at Daereungwon. Cheomseongdae, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and the museum are all nearby. Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto require about a 25-minute drive, so you'll need 2 days to enjoy them comfortably. I don't recommend visiting Munmu Great King's Royal Tomb in the sea; there's not much to see there, haha.

Visited Jeonju Hanok Village
I visited Jeonju Hanok Village last year. The photo is of Jeondong Cathedral, which is currently not open to the public except for those attending services. My family planned a 2-day, 1-night trip, but it turned out to be more like a half-day visit. After seeing Jeondong Cathedral and Gyeonggijeon, the rest was mostly snack stalls, restaurants, and souvenir shops, which was a bit disappointing. Gyeonggijeon is famous for the portrait of King Taejo and also has portraits of other kings. You can follow a guide to get explanations and participate in various experiences. A famous snack to try is called 'O-jjang', which is quite popular.

Gapyeong Flower Festa
The Flower Festa festival is being held at Jara Island in Gapyeong from today until October 5th. I visited on the first day. Since it was the first day, the flowers don't seem to be in full bloom yet. Currently, many Zinnias and Cosmos are blooming. It seems like a good idea to take a walk around the island and sightsee.

Delicious Rest Stop Menu Items
Everyone stops at rest stops when traveling, and each rest stop seems to have one delicious menu item. Out of those, I like walnut cookies the most. Among all the walnut cookies I've had so far, the ones from Nakdonggang and Uiseong Rest Stops were the best. A point to note is that this one is on the southbound lane towards Daegu. Nakdonggang and Gumi are on the northbound lane, and those are similar to other places. If you have a chance to go, stop by in the middle and try them.

Country Mouse Visits Seoul
I live in the countryside, so Seoul feels very unfamiliar. While people who live in Seoul are used to it, it felt awkward to me. So, I decided to take the kids to Lotte World and Lotte Tower. It's been 3 years since I last visited, so things might be a bit different now. Lotte World was a fun experience, showing my family the indoor ice rink for the first time. We decided to head over to Lotte Tower, which is about a 15-minute walk from Lotte World. It was closer than I thought, and it was connected underground, offering plenty to see and enjoy.

Hello, Domestic Travel
My first destination was the Royal Tomb of King Sejong in Yeoju. I visited after having some extra time following a trip to Yeoju Premium Outlets. The photos were taken in the park within the tourist site. Pros: The entrance fee is cheap, it's a good course for a walk, and these artifacts were not all made during King Sejong's reign but represent the entire Joseon Dynasty. They are intricately made and should only be observed. There are about 20 of them, so it doesn't take long. Cons: Since most of it is outdoors, it's heavily influenced by the weather, and there's a lack of food options for children, so you need to prepare in advance. There's one small cafe, and if it gets crowded, orders get backed up significantly. Honestly, the drinks don't taste good either ㅠㅠ It's a half-day course.
