Eungbong Mountain is famous for its forsythias in spring. People who come after seeing it on social media might be surprised by its small scale. It only takes about 5 minutes to reach the summit, but I broke a sweat due to the weather. On the way down, I captured some alleyway scenery and returned the way I came. It feels refreshing to change things up after always taking pictures from the same spot and angle. I've tried taking pictures of alleyways a few times before, but they never turned out quite pretty. Today, I realized that framing the shot from a distance, rather than trying to capture it up close, yields better results. Just like Charlie Chaplin said, "Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot." It's good to have a perspective of observing things from a slight distance. Everything passes eventually.
