Anyone seen 'Hope'?

I watched it on the first day and enjoyed it, but I don't know why they got so angry 😅 It seems like some people try to fit the genre of movies into their own preferences.. It's okay not to like the creator's world, but attacking them is another issue.. There are just too many witch-hunters everywhere these days 😅

Hmm..... I mean, I didn't exactly find it super fun either, but I don't think it's worth getting THAT mad about. It just felt kinda... meh..? 🥺... Well, geez...

I thought it was pretty good! I feel like people are just bandwagoning too much... like they're just hating because everyone else is. Definitely a must-see in theaters!

My kid seems to have liked it.. They just said it's not an open ending though.. That it's not the ending at all.. Apparently it's only up to the exposition and the first part of the development.. They said it's just the beginning of the development because the world-building is so vast, let alone the climax or ending.. haha That's probably why people are divided about it.. ^^;;

I honestly didn't find it fun at all. I saw it on the first day, and everyone I watched with had a ?????? reaction. Nobody even stayed for the end credits, lol. I'd watch it once, but never again.

Reviews were all over the place, so I went out of curiosity and actually enjoyed it. It really felt like the beginning-development-introduction just cut off... But separate from the story, the action scenes are amazing. I watched it with a blast of sound in the theater and it was so satisfying!

The Colony was by Jun Ji-hyun, for Jun Ji-hyun, of Jun Ji-hyun feat. Koo Kyo-hwan. It was so-so. Haven't seen Hope yet. Back in the day when movies were 2,000-2,500 won, if you went a bit late and missed the beginning, you'd end up sitting on the stairs for the next showing. Movie prices have really gone up. With telco discounts, early bird/late night combos, you could watch for 3,000-4,000 won when the regular price was around 7,000-8,000 won, but they've increased so much.
