That's unfortunate
I got a skin rash and went to the dermatologist... Even a local clinic has a 2-hour wait... Everyone's flocking to dermatologists for cosmetic reasons, so doctors are concentrating there too... Meanwhile, pediatricians are struggling with staff shortages and dealing with abusive parents... It all seems like a consequence of our choices...

Hello Uncle Troll! Are we talking about skincare and dermatology clinics? 🤔🤔

I agree, it seems like an even more unfortunate situation because of the complex issues involved. Waiting 2 hours at the dermatologist must have been really tough for you, Gaetrol. ㅜㅜ

Right? There are just too many dermatology and plastic surgery clinics.

What the doctor 'bros' are saying is that although it's gone now, with the introduction of graduate medical schools, older individuals are becoming doctors through them. This situation makes it difficult for them to complete their internship and residency, leading to a greater shortage of doctors in major hospitals than before. Apparently, they're getting their licenses without going through residency and then opening clinics, not general practices, but places like dermatology clinics, focusing only on lucrative non-covered procedures like cosmetic surgery and whitening. When I go to a dermatologist for things like (e.g.) rashes, athlete's foot, eczema, or other conditions covered by insurance, many places tell me they can't treat it or that they don't know how to do it well, so they just give a cursory prescription.
