Author Keigo Higashino has passed away.

He wasn't a favorite author of mine, but Keigo Higashino, who had immense power in the publishing industry, has passed away. However, the photos featured by various media outlets all look so young. The articles state he passed away at the age of 68 or close to 70. One article even specified it was a photo from the 2000s. This means that despite his consistent work until recently, there wasn't much exposure of his appearance during his later years. This is where conspiracy theories start to emerge. Theories like, 'The author actually passed away a long time ago, and the publisher hid his death, having ghostwriters pen books to profit from his name.' And now, they've decided to end it because it was starting to get suspicious. Well, this was just a passing conspiracy theory I conjured up without any real basis. In fact, I have a close acquaintance in Japan, but I didn't even think to ask them, 'Are people in Japan talking about this?' It was just a fleeting personal fantasy. May he rest in peace.
