Reflecting on My Comments. ^^
Hello everyone. I'm the user who posted a question yesterday and ended up experiencing energy depletion trying to read and reply to every single comment. Originally, I intended to write: {How do you deal with unpleasant comments?} but I made an emergency edit. ^-^ As I post daily in the community, I receive all sorts of comments. Most of them are encouraging words, valuable experiences, and well wishes, for which I am grateful. However, life isn't always a bed of roses, is it? There are more unpleasant comments than you might think. There's sarcasm, arguments, teasing, copy-pasting other people's comments, and outright insults โ the imagination runs wild. So, what do I do? I give it right back. There's no compromise here; when I return the same situation, most people stop reacting. If someone persists in arguing, I politely, but persistently, make sure they realize I'm displeased, and then I'm done. ^-^ I write a lot of comments. So, I want to maintain courtesy, at least for myself! Every post is precious. ^^

I'm scared of getting negative comments, so I've been posting less lately ใ ใ I've even been told to quit, so I can't do that.

I know I have a unique personality, but I actually enjoy thinking about how to take down commenters who specifically target me๐คญ I usually win against those kinds of hate comments anyway. I'm just holding back because I'm worried about others getting hurt by it๐

Oh, I really like this mindset. Honestly, when you're active in a community, you meet all sorts of people, right? From polite folks to those who make you wonder if they can really be this rude. I tend to choose my words carefully because even though it's anonymous online, I want the person listening to my story to not feel bad. So, I find those rude people really fascinating... I've seen many like that, where they just completely disregard everything... respond rudely, or sometimes just block or ignore them. Of course... seeing those comments or posts still makes me feel a bit bad though ใ I think if there were more people like you, 'Hangeoreum', it would become a community where everyone feels good! I'm giving it a like and heading off~

I like writing, but replying to comments is too much of a hassle. I either don't reply at all or only do it a little. Trying to retaliate against hateful comments often leads to arguments and just makes me feel worse, so I think it's better to just ignore them.

It seems there are some people who don't quite grasp the obvious concept of treating comments with courtesy, and responding to malicious comments in kind. I read your post well. I'll always keep in mind to be courteous when commenting.

I reply to comments based on the state of the post. What goes around comes around, you know? Sometimes, if someone's being rude or sarcastic, I just take it as is, but if they're putting in genuine effort, I'll respond with the same.

I think a real-name system is necessary because there are quite a few people who criticize others without thinking, hiding behind anonymity. I hope for the development of internet culture where mutual courtesy is observed.

I just think of myself as that kind of person~ Honestly, since it's text, I tend to think based on how I read it ๐คฃ

Amazing... It's really not easy to write such detailed and sincere replies one by one... Every time I see them, they're all written with such care... ๐ I hope all your future posts receive only pleasant comments... (^-^)

I've only commented so far, so I guess I haven't met them?? Even if I do, I plan to mostly ignore them. Getting worked up about it is just another form of fatigue.
