Do you believe in MBTI?
A while ago, someone posted an explanation of MBTI on the community board, and I really enjoyed reading it. I happened to take the test and found out I'm an INFP. I was obsessed with searching about it for a while, and apparently, INFP is the MBTI that believes in it the most, haha. Perhaps because it's more detailed than blood types, everything felt accurate. What made me particularly interested in MBTI wasn't about personality or temperament. It made me go 'aha!' when I thought about why I made certain choices in the past. It explained all the reasons why I had no choice but to make those decisions when things were tough. It felt like discovering a part of myself I didn't know. I could go back to that past self and pat them on the shoulder. 'It's okay. You could do that. It wasn't your fault.' I'm getting emotional again just writing this. I wanted to share this perspective because I've used it in this way.

The reason MBTI seems to fit better than blood type is because you choose your MBTI yourself. Since you choose it yourself and say 'I think my personality is like this,' you can't help but feel it generally fits.

Back in our day, we used blood types, and if that didn't work, we'd resort to physiognomy and palm reading. haha MBTI seems to tell us almost clearly because there's no room to escape its categories. It's not something to be fully trusted, though. Nobody even asks about it. haha Fighting!

I actually just heard about it vaguely, so I think I'm a capital 'I'... but I've never actually done it on a website. They say it changes depending on what you choose at the time. Nobody around me asks or is curious about it... so I guess they don't really believe it.. ^^😅

I don't completely believe it, but I think the general tendency is correct. However, things you can do for free online aren't official tests, and they can come out differently from official tests. So, don't blindly trust it, and just use it as a reference to think, 'I might have this kind of tendency,' or 'I can think differently from that person,' wouldn't that be perfect?

MBTI is a real personality type test, so it's different from blood types lol. I used to believe in blood types when I was younger too...

MBTI is more scientific than blood types. It's not 100% accurate because what you aspire to and your actual behavior differ, making it hard to be completely honest in psychological tests, but it's pretty spot on. Knowing someone's MBTI type lets you roughly guess their tendencies, which is convenient. I'm an ISFJ.
