Do you believe in MBTI?

A while ago, someone posted an explanation of MBTI on the community board, and I really enjoyed reading it. I happened to take the test and found out I'm an INFP. I was obsessed with searching about it for a while, and apparently, INFP is the MBTI that believes in it the most, haha. Perhaps because it's more detailed than blood types, everything felt accurate. What made me particularly interested in MBTI wasn't about personality or temperament. It made me go 'aha!' when I thought about why I made certain choices in the past. It explained all the reasons why I had no choice but to make those decisions when things were tough. It felt like discovering a part of myself I didn't know. I could go back to that past self and pat them on the shoulder. 'It's okay. You could do that. It wasn't your fault.' I'm getting emotional again just writing this. I wanted to share this perspective because I've used it in this way.

I'm just thinking of it as fun. There are also probabilistic or inconsistent parts.

I don't blindly believe it, but it's kinda fun to watch because it's surprisingly accurate, you know?

MBTI is quite mysterious, isn't it?

It's somewhat accurate, but the main title is the most off ใ…Žใ…Ž.. The details are all correct, but the main title saying ISTPs are good with their hands and mechanics is the complete opposite...

Billy Joel, you're still busy even on the weekend. Yours is the Joan of Arc type of INFP. It says 'A person who pursues and creates an ideal world!' Does that sound about right? I saw your post while passing by and decided to stop in. Have a great weekend!

Hmm... I'd say I believe it about halfway. I'm a bit unusual, so it's hard to explain solely with MBTI, so I just kind of accept it and move on.

Rather than believing it, I think it's used more when you understand like, 'Ah, so this is the kind of person they are~'

I don't really trust MBTI, but seeing personality types makes me think, 'Ah, so that's why,' and I end up comparing it to my past self.

Since it comes out the way you choose it, I just pass it off as 'oh, so that's the kind of personality it is.'

The prime example of packaging bad things as good is F empathy, but if you dig deeper, it's selective empathy. It's gaslighting and incitement to force one's empathy onto the majority.

I'm INFP too lol. But the INFP image seems bad..ใ… ใ…  My friends' MBTI types all seem to fit them, but some people say it doesn't fit them.. I think it's best to just do it for fun. It's also unpleasant to see people dividing us based on T and F...

Does MBTI match well? I looked at it for fun, but I don't know if it's accurate.

MBTI just groups similar tendencies together. If we use food as an example, it's like saying 'I like Jajangmyeon and tomato spaghetti, Mul-naengmyeon and Doenjang-jjigae!' and then someone replies 'Oh, you too?' That's when MBTI matches. But if you say, 'I like all of them, but for stews, I prefer Kimchi-jjigae!' it's just a thought like, 'Okay, one thing is different there.' Still, I'm happy that MBTI's popularity has increased understanding of I and T. It's like feeling 'Please empathize with me when I can't empathize with you guys...' haha...
