The sun is shining brightly

I heard it's supposed to rain around 4 PM. Still, the weather is cool and the sun is out, It really feels like autumn, doesn't it? If only it weren't for these pesky mosquitoes, it would be such a pleasant autumn day. Last night, I opened the window to circulate the air and let out some of the lingering warmth, but I can't believe how many mosquitoes got in! It seems like the window screens are useless. My kids got bitten in several places, and my husband caught one, so I thought they were all gone. But then I realized I had been bitten four times just on my fingers. I took out the mosquito repellent I had put away in a drawer, thinking I wouldn't need it anymore, and slathered it on. I got sidetracked from talking about the weather, haha. I hope you all enjoy the probably quite short autumn. I'm going to have a warm cup of coffee and go for a walk for the first time in a while.
