Occasional Novel Share / The Prince I Raised Turned Evil
Book Title - The Prince I Raised Turned Evil Genre - Romance Status - Completed Setting - Ancient China (Female lead transmigrated from modern times) Review - I think the biggest difference from other novels is that the author emphasizes 'hate' for the protagonist's growth, which leads to many tragic fates and character development. However, this novel states that all emotions are important: hate helps you overcome obstacles, hope makes you fearless, despair makes you wish for death, and love makes you look forward to the future. *Favorite Scene Below* "I declare to the world, because I want to declare to the world, because I believe the strength I have shown and the achievements I have made are already recognized by the world! If I can return alive from the northern lands, then I will have saved this country twice! What commoner would scorn me? What official would dare to ostracize me? If Great Qin cannot accommodate a female national scholar, then I dare say that every country that signed the treaty of nations will open its doors to me! 'I didn't dare to say I was a woman before, because if I did, the consequences would be even more terrifying than you say. But now I am about to risk my life to fight. If I win, I will gain everything I deserve, including recognition and glory!"

To the Unknown You (2)
In the adjacent cabin, Lu Jiashu was tightening the child safety net for five-year-old Zhou Zhou. His wife, Bai Xiaofeng, an elementary school teacher, was currently speaking to the four children in a voice as gentle as a lullaby, "When the rocket launches in a bit, it will shake a little, like the earth giving you a gentle nudge. Don't be scared, it's just the Earth saying goodbye to us." Seven-year-old An An's eyes widened, "Will the Earth miss us?" "Yes," Bai Xiaofeng stroked her head. "That's why it's sending us the entire sunset." Eight-year-old Le Le had already pressed his face against the porthole, "Then, do you think we'll be able to see a rainbow in the 'unknown place' we're going to?" Lu Jiashu, Ji Yiheng's partner, exchanged a look with him, and both fathers smiled. No one knew the answer—because they didn't know, they had to go see it together. The countdown echoed from the broadcast. Xia Yucheng quietly took Ji Yiheng's hand, "If this is the last time we set foot on solid ground—" "No," he said, "it's the first time we put our entire family above the clouds." (To be continued)

Flying Towards the Unknown You (1)
Prologue: Dusk Before Ignition The twilight dyed the launchpad the color of honey. The white rocket stood silently between its supports, like a string about to be plucked. Ji Yiheng clicked the seatbelt into the last slot and looked back. Xia Yucheng leaned against the window, holding an old astronomical telescope in his hand—their first date souvenir on Earth. "Are you settled?" he asked softly. "Settled," Xia Yucheng smiled and pointed out the window. "Look, the clouds are baked into golden cotton candy by our engines." (To be continued)

Episode 888: Kingdom of Delays (14)
"Not that kind of fast," she said. Dou Dou rubbed his belly. "So we haven't eaten our bento boxes yet?" "Right," Chen Jiande said, suddenly bursting into laughter. "None of us three have eaten our bento boxes yet." As he stood up, one of the three tickets in his jacket's inner pocket slipped out. When he picked it up, he noticed a line of very small print on the ticket, so small it looked like someone had secretly stamped it: Paid: One Honesty. He put the ticket away, back into the pocket his wife didn't even know about. Epilogue: The Third Bento Box on the Way Home On the platform, Mrs. Chen held three bento boxes in one hand and looked at her phone with the other. "How did you guys get here so fast? I thought you'd eat on the train." "We ran into a little something on the train," Chen Jiande said. "What happened?" "...The high-speed rail changed its livery." Xiao Kui let out a very forceful sigh. That evening, Xiao Kui handed in her essay. The topic was <The Most Unforgettable Trip I've Ever Taken>. She wrote 2,300 characters, and the teacher wrote four words next to it: Rich imagination. She didn't argue. Because tucked into the last page of her notebook was a ticket—on that ticket, a line of small print that only she could see. And deep within a warehouse in the Kingdom of Delays, an empty glass jar was quietly glowing. It was new, with a label attached: Unspoken: Thanks. (The End)

The 888th Trip: Kingdom of Misplaced Time (13)
The cat stood up, took off its hat, cupped it in its front paws, and handed it to him. Xiao Kui closed her notebook. She hadn't written anything. Doudou walked over, took her dad's hand, and gave him the last packet of instant noodles. "Here you go," Doudou said. "You did well today." Chapter 7: Zuoying Station: The Twelve-Minute Magic "We have arrived at Zuoying Station." It was the most ordinary announcement. So ordinary that Chen Jiande almost cried. The shell-like doors opened, the smell of coconut oil disappeared, replaced by the clean, cool air of the high-speed train carriage. The 888th train sat quietly on the tracks, the fluorescent lights were stark white, the tray tables on the seat backs were neatly folded, and the old man next to him was snoring. The electronic signboard read: Train 888 Zuoying 10:12 On Time Chen Jiande glanced at his watch. They had boarded at 9:21. "...It's only been twelve minutes." (To be continued)

Episode 888: The Kingdom of Late Arrivals (12)
Chapter 6: The conductor is a cat, and it's wearing your hat. The sixth carriage was very quiet. There was only one cat. It was a calico, sitting on a folding chair, its tail curled neatly around its paws, wearing a dark blue conductor's hat. Three words were embroidered on the brim: Chen Jiande. "Give me back my hat," Chen Jiande said. The cat looked at him with the tired eyes of an office worker. Then, it tapped the ticket validation machine next to it with its paw. The machine spat out seven words: Honesty is the only ticket. "...You want me to tell the truth here." The cat nodded. Chen Jiande stood there, scratching the back of his neck. Outside the window, whales swam slowly by; the mint leaves of the Snack Forest rustled; the braised egg spirit from the Bento Forest was still singing. "Okay," he took a deep breath. "It's not that I'm afraid of those forty dollars. What I'm afraid of is—" His voice bounced around the carriage. "I'm afraid that even with all my careful calculations, I still can't figure out how to raise you. I'm afraid that every time you say, 'Dad, you're so embarrassing,' I'm thinking the same thing: How many more years do I have to take you on car rides like this?" He paused. "I'm afraid you'll grow up too fast. I'm afraid I won't have learned how to be a dad in time." Silence. Then, the Snack Forest began to applaud. Bags of Kuai Kuai snacks fell from the trees, pat, pat, pat, like a cookie rain. The spirits in the fifth carriage raised their highlighter pens in salute. Even the electronic signboard, broken with two black dots, diligently flashed three new words: On time 0 minutes (To be continued)

Episode 888: The Kingdom of Delays (11)
"Where is this?" Xiao Kui asked. "The Kingdom of Delays," a broadcast announced. It was a very old electronic signboard, with two broken black spots on the panel. It only displayed three words: DELAY 3 MINUTES "Everything that's been delayed, forgotten, or covered up by lies is transported here," the sign said. "Your father just sent something here, too." Chen Jiande was silent for a moment. "Is it that forty yuan?" "No," the sign said. "It's the hat you dropped at Zuoying Station last year." Chen Jiande froze. He really liked that hat. "It's here too?" "It's in the sixth carriage," the sign said. "It's on the conductor's head." (To be continued)

Episode 888: The Kingdom of Delays (10)
The disposable chopsticks tapped again. "Verdict: The defendant must speak one true sentence to the entire carriage before this journey ends. No vagueness, no embellishments, no adding 'Actually, it wasn't that big of a deal.'" Little Sunflower wrote in her notebook: Dad has to be honest. Chapter 5: The Kingdom of Delays in the Tunnel As the train plunged into the tunnel, the darkness outside the window suddenly became a darkness with substance. Then, the lights came on. It wasn't the tunnel's lights. It was an endless warehouse. Filled with things. To the left, a mountain of socks, all single, unable to find their mates, stacked to the ceiling. To the right, a forest of umbrellas, thousands upon thousands of them stuck in the ground, some still dripping water. Beyond that, rows and rows of boarding passes, stamped with 'Canceled.' In the deepest part, an entire wall of glass jars, each filled with an unspoken apology, flitting about like fireflies. And a prairie made of sticky notes. Each one read: 'Next time for sure.'
