I rerolled and got Xiao Yan directly at 3030 pulls. Although Xiao Yan is a whale's companion, he's incredibly hard to pull. If you were to buy him with gems, it'd be 100 pulls for one. But having him early on is great. This young lad's specialty is that the longer he drags things out, the harder his punch hits. So, getting Xiao Yan before the 3000 pulls you can choose is better.

In the early game, it's important to boost your combat power first, which will make stages easier to clear. At least, you won't get stuck as often.
