No mooncakes though But just having a day off makes me so happy. I wonder what kind of industries everyone works in. I've deeply realized that getting along with people at work is much more important than the work itself. It's a traditional family business and the office atmosphere is stifling. I'm still getting used to the new work environment. During work hours, how can I avoid being so tense? Tomorrow is another beautiful day 🫡

My colleagues have started taking turns going abroad. As a newbie, I haven't had the chance yet. Do you guys believe in superstitions at work? Like, about your office desk location? I always seem to get lucky and sit in weird spots. For example, right in front of a closed emergency exit. Now I'm sitting at the company's prime ocean view spot. It's right in front of the glass door entering the office, but there's a slightly tall metal cabinet blocking it. I feel like I'm a receptionist. And nowadays, many companies want to pursue that Western-style open office seating, basically without any cubicle walls. I don't hate this setup. But the seating arrangement is always the same: Newbies at the very front, Supervisors are always at the very back. 😤 I'd rather believe it's possible. Working hard and showing your skills is what's important!

Yep, I'm that office worker whose wallet empties as soon as the paycheck hits. Living in Taipei is tough, let alone living alone, and on top of that, raising a fur baby. Basically, I'm a hidden poverty-stricken household. 😭 If you have a home, a family, and dinner waiting for you when you get back at night, please cherish it. This post is a bit less cheerful. 🫣

I changed my work location about a month ago. Before that, my commute was over half an hour one way. Now, after changing my workplace— It only takes about 5 minutes by motorcycle 😆 Before, I had to factor in commute time in the morning, and I'd start to get anxious if I left even a little late. Now, I sometimes feel like, 'Huh? I'm already here?' 😂 It's even more noticeable after work! Before, getting off work = still needing to spend half an hour to get home. Now, getting off work = being home in a few minutes ✨ Even though I still have to go to work, and it's the same old job(?) With the significantly reduced commute time, I really feel like I've gained a little piece of my life every day 🥰 (And more time to spend with my cat 🐱 How long is your one-way commute each day? At what point do you start thinking, 'Is this job too far from my home? 🥺'?

As soon as it hit 6 o'clock, I packed up and left my desk. It's raining outside, But my heart is already starting to clear up. The fatigue from the whole day, My eyes feeling sore and dry, My neck and shoulders aching, But the moment I stepped out of the office building, I felt completely recovered!
