BL韓漫生活分享

A hidden gem I found recently 💕 This series is currently available on BOMTOON. The main story is complete with 77 episodes, and a side story is currently being serialized! The story follows Seongho, who lives alone with his child after being discharged from the military and moves to the countryside for a fresh start. On his first day, he's mistaken for a thief by the local supermarket owner, Gwon Haebum, thus beginning their bickering, destined relationship. First off, both the top and bottom have amazing physiques, which is a joy to behold 😋 Haebum initially seems difficult to get along with, but he's actually a great guy! He can cook, he's a worrier, and he nags a lot, possessing a motherly attribute 😆 He's a warm-hearted young village chief of the area~ The villagers often get lectured by him, but they know he doesn't truly get angry, and they all trust him. The author's chibi drawing of Haebum as a black seal is very creative and cute 😆 Seongho is a gentle and proactive bottom who can be affectionate and teasing. He occasionally likes to playfully fluster Haebum, and their interactions are very sweet 💕 Also, their relationship develops naturally without unnecessary dragging. The little one is also a highlight! Children usually aren't a bonus point for me, but the little one often has such expressive faces, and is adorably ugly-cute 🤣 He's close with both dads and is a good kid who doesn't get in the way of his dads' romance 😆 I also really like the author's artistic skill. The whole work is lively and fun, yet it has a solid story development and distinct characters. The small illustrations after each chapter often bring a smile to my face. I recommend this masterpiece, which combines comedy, warmth, and 🚘, to everyone 😉

Completed, all 80 episodes. It was also adapted into an 8-episode live-action drama in 2023 (though I haven't watched it~) This was a work I finished reading on Kakao Webtoon a while back! Unfortunately, with the end of the Traditional Chinese version of Kakao Webtoon in Taiwan, there doesn't seem to be a new official channel for its Traditional Chinese release yet. I hope it gets transferred to another official platform in the future 🙏 The story is about Hyun Yul, a city dweller who comes to the countryside due to life's troubles, meeting Ye Chan, a straightforward young farmer who loves agriculture. Their backgrounds and personalities are vastly different, but as they spend time together, they gradually grow closer, developing a heartwarming rural romance. I really liked the interactions in the early part where the city person comes to the countryside, caused by differences in lifestyle habits. I also found the overall atmosphere light, cute, and funny~ Although... I picked the wrong 'top' and 'bottom' back then, and only realized it during the 🚘🤣 This one features a beautiful top x strong bottom 😆

I actually only planned to get the three hidden cards. But each one costs around NT200, and you basically have to buy them bundled with other regular cards, so you have to spend money for 2 more regular cards (a few sellers only require bundling 1). It'll cost around NT900 or more to get 9 cards. However, this seller was nice and sold a set of 18 cards for NT800. Unfortunately, the original packaging is sold out. Pretty lucky, I just happened to buy the last set.

This is a completed Korean BL webtoon, with a total of 50 episodes, adapted from a novel of the same name. You can currently watch it on BOMTOON~ The story is about college student Gyu-yeon, who pretends to be a female character named 'Haryong' in an online game, and gets various free items and equipment by acting cute towards male players. One particularly generous player, 'Eom-min', not only showers Haryong with gifts without hesitation but also genuinely falls for Haryong, even requesting to meet in real life. Gyu-yeon initially only intended to scam for gear, but the other party becomes increasingly obsessed, and Eom-min's true identity turns out to be Eom Ki-min, a popular figure at the same school! I recently reread this webtoon I had read before, and it's still very interesting! I especially have a strong impression of the seme's 'terrifying lover mode' in the early stages. He's a handsome guy, but his possessiveness in love is a bit scary, yet he also has surprisingly cute sides, like crying 😢 🤣 (The seme is genuinely a terrifying lover, please don't imitate this in real life 🤣) The uke isn't some pure and innocent lamb either, as he approached the other party with the intention of scamming for equipment from the start. Both characters have aspects that make you laugh and cry, but as the story progresses, they gradually see each other's true feelings, and their interactions later on are quite sweet! Overall, it's a somewhat absurd, comedic, yet sweet love story. While they do develop intimate relationships, there are no direct depictions of sex scenes; the focus is mainly on the development of their emotional connection~

Sorry, I've introduced another work that's currently unavailable through official channels 🥲 This one used to be serialized on the Taiwanese version of comico (which later rebranded to pocket comics, but has also since shut down), and it was a Korean webtoon I followed all the way to the end and really loved back then. I hope it gets transferred to another platform someday so I can revisit it 🥹 The story is about Jonathan, a college student who dreams of becoming a reporter, entering prison for an interview with Kaster, a serial killer who murdered 33 men. Unexpectedly, he becomes the target of the killer. The reason I got into it back then was super simple: BL + Serial Killer Top. Doesn't it just sound like a crazy, messed-up story? 🤣 However, as I followed it to the end, it turned out to be far beyond my initial expectations. The story primarily follows Jonathan's perspective, and Kaster's thoughts and his obsession with Jonathan remain elusive. As the plot unfolds, you gradually realize the story isn't as simple as it initially appears. I really liked how the characters and truths were gradually revealed. There's suspense, plot twists, and the romance line hit me harder than I expected 🥰

This is also a BL Korean webtoon I paid to read on KAKAO WEBTOON before. It was already finished back then, and it's a work I still really love to this day! Unfortunately, this one hasn't been transferred to other platforms yet 🥲 University student Sangha meets a new player, Yiheun, in an online game. Sangha kindly guides Yiheun through the game, and they gradually become good online friends. However, when they meet offline, they discover — Yiheun is a sharply dressed, intimidating yakuza uncle 🤣 I generally like game-themed stories, and this one is a very traditional keyboard online game with elements like monster hunting, party play, and guilds, which really suits my taste 😆 I really like Yiheun. He looks incredibly imposing and like a yakuza uncle, the type who seems completely unapproachable. But in reality, he shows a huge contrast when facing Sangha. Yiheun isn't very good at interacting with people and can sometimes be a bit clumsy, but he's not the type to be stubborn. When Sangha points out issues, he listens seriously and is willing to change. Watching this big, fierce-looking guy become surprisingly obedient in front of Sangha just makes him cuter and cuter the more I read 😆 Plus, the age gap and height difference completely hit my preferences! The development of their relationship is very sweet, and the later interactions and side stories were just as satisfying 🚘

So glad I had a friend to buy it for me, otherwise I would have cried so hard. Just one year off from being able to participate, I really wanted to interact with the author ahhhhh (I got selected for the interactive session and personal autograph). Still, gotta thank Flatheart Publishing. But there's no age limit for the Ferris wheel, so I'll head out early with my friend to buy tickets, I'm sure I can get them. Then I'll have the ticket stub, yay! Wishing me luck to get a spot in the signing event (only 200 spots). Also, I recommend checking out Bboungbbangkkyu's works, MIGNON Min Yong and Over Breathing. Highly recommend Min Yong. Both have anime and manga adaptations. Min Yong is mainly about an underground boxer falling in love with a doctor working there, and later finds out the doctor is a vampire. But Min Yong still wants to protect the doctor and be with him. It has a happy ending. There's an unreleased 11-minute bonus video. You can get it by buying the physical book from Navar's ABJ company. It comes with a USB drive containing episodes 1-12 of the anime and the unreleased 11-minute bonus video. The subtitles are in Korean, Japanese, and English (Please support the official release, thank you). Min Yong is available on bomtoon, and Over Breathing is only available through the link provided by ABJ company (I think, I bought it and forgot). However, you need to purchase the online versions from the link provided by ABJ to watch the anime. Hope everyone enjoys watching. Finally I will get a spot in the signing event.
