House of the Rising Sun

A hidden gem I found recently 💕 This series is currently available on BOMTOON. The main story is complete with 77 episodes, and a side story is currently being serialized! The story follows Seongho, who lives alone with his child after being discharged from the military and moves to the countryside for a fresh start. On his first day, he's mistaken for a thief by the local supermarket owner, Gwon Haebum, thus beginning their bickering, destined relationship. First off, both the top and bottom have amazing physiques, which is a joy to behold 😋 Haebum initially seems difficult to get along with, but he's actually a great guy! He can cook, he's a worrier, and he nags a lot, possessing a motherly attribute 😆 He's a warm-hearted young village chief of the area~ The villagers often get lectured by him, but they know he doesn't truly get angry, and they all trust him. The author's chibi drawing of Haebum as a black seal is very creative and cute 😆 Seongho is a gentle and proactive bottom who can be affectionate and teasing. He occasionally likes to playfully fluster Haebum, and their interactions are very sweet 💕 Also, their relationship develops naturally without unnecessary dragging. The little one is also a highlight! Children usually aren't a bonus point for me, but the little one often has such expressive faces, and is adorably ugly-cute 🤣 He's close with both dads and is a good kid who doesn't get in the way of his dads' romance 😆 I also really like the author's artistic skill. The whole work is lively and fun, yet it has a solid story development and distinct characters. The small illustrations after each chapter often bring a smile to my face. I recommend this masterpiece, which combines comedy, warmth, and 🚘, to everyone 😉
