In Taiwan, many families face the same challenge: when elderly parents suddenly fall seriously ill, the entire family's routine, lifestyle, and eating habits must be instantly reshuffled. Facing long-term care, rehabilitation, and the establishment of medical systems, we often learn to be strong amidst chaos. Recalling that cold winter night in 2022, my mother collapsed without warning. At first, my father was at a loss. We called 119 and rushed her to a local hospital. After an initial examination, the ER doctor, with a grave expression, urged us: "Transfer her to a major hospital immediately! For cerebral infarction, you must seize the golden 8 hours!" We immediately transferred her to Guang Tian Hospital in Taichung Shalu. Fortunately, the vice president's medical skills were superb, and he immediately pulled my mother back from the brink. After nearly 3 months in and out of the ICU and general ward, we were finally able to bring my mother home once everything stabilized. At that moment, we also understood that a long and extremely patient rehabilitation journey had officially begun. Stroke was once just a medical term to us. But after accompanying my mother through the gates of hell and back, our surrounding family began to deeply appreciate the importance of "health preservation and a healthy lifestyle." We adjusted my mother's mind, body, and spirit, accompanying her with immense love, letting her know she wasn't alone, and helping her live stronger. After the stroke, my mother could only move with the help of a wheelchair and had to go to the hospital for rehabilitation every other day. We were also strict with her diet: low oil, low salt, balanced nutrition, and the food had to be cooked soft enough. More importantly, the living environment had to be absolutely safe.

The Driver
Suddenly feeling a bit sentimental. I truly love my current job. Although it's genuinely tiring, every day is fulfilling and happy. Every time I receive positive feedback from passengers, I feel super happy. The tiring part is probably the salary not meeting expectations lol Don't think my salary is high, it's NOT! Honestly, I think every job is tough. Your salary only increases if you drive more trips and for longer hours~ So, I don't get a fixed amount every month. Unless you drive the same routes and number of trips. Although I love this job, physical health is also very important. So while working hard to earn money, I hope everyone takes good care of their bodies too. Sometimes it's really draining when you have the will but not the strength! Hey 👋🏻 It's nothing! Let's all cheer each other on and work hard ☀️✨💪🏻 I'll be off for a while again next week. Hope my passengers don't forget me 😂😂😂

License Plate
What's most important in driving isn't just how good the car looks, but that you get home safely every time. Many people pick license plates just by looking at whether the numbers are smooth or easy to remember, but rarely pay attention to whether this number combination is suitable for them. From the perspective of numerology, license plate numbers accompany us every day when we go out, work, do business, and pick up family. Some number arrangements also remind us to pay more attention to driving safety, emotional judgment, and financial status. So when choosing a license plate, I've always felt two things are most important: First, getting home safely. Second, bringing money home. It's not superstition, but rather giving yourself an extra reminder and peace of mind. Understanding your own numbers is also about making an extra preparation for yourself and your family. #LicensePlateNumbers #SafeDriving #WealthEnergy #Numerology #LinManYuanNumerology 🌸 Welcome to Lin Man Yuan's Numerology In-Person Blessing Seminar, where we'll explore your license plate, mobile number, and numerical energy together, making every outing safer and more purposeful.

Oil Oil Oil
A bottle of perilla oil called 'Local', but unable to provide proof of origin. What's wrong with Taiwan's food safety system? On July 29th, Shin Kong Biotechnology (永豐餘生技) voluntarily sent samples for testing and self-reported that their 'Local Golden Flower Small Fruit Perilla Oil' (在地金花小菓苦茶油) detected 2.9μg/kg of benzo[a]pyrene, exceeding Taiwan's limit of 2.0. The Taipei City Department of Health ordered a precautionary recall regardless of batch and inspected 13 GREEN&SAFE stores. Let me start by saying something fair: this batch of oil was tested and reported by the company itself. After the Zhonglian incident, such voluntary reporting is commendable, and we need more manufacturers willing to do this. But the real problem was revealed this afternoon. Minister of Health and Welfare, Shih Chung-liang (石崇良), said: 'Although the company claims the raw material is locally produced, they cannot provide specific proof of origin, and it is highly suspected that imported perilla seeds from China were used.' Currently, the source manufacturer, Yuanchun Oil Press (源春製油廠), has been ordered to stop production, and local health bureaus are cooperating with the Southern Regional Branch of the FDA to clarify the cause. A product named 'Local' Golden Flower Small Fruit Perilla Oil, yet the regulatory authority says the company cannot provide proof that the raw material is local. In fact, before the minister spoke, some people had already raised doubts. Veteran journalist Chen Chih-tung (陳志東) compiled a few points: Taiwan's perilla seeds are harvested between October and November each year, and usually become available in December or January of the following year. However, this product was launched in July of this year. A 250ml bottle of Taiwanese local small-fruited perilla oil typically costs close to NT$1,000 due to difficult harvesting and high processing costs. This bottle, however, is sold for NT$880.
