I took my daughter to FamilyMart today. I originally wanted to buy dessert, but the shelves only had things I didn't like, so I gave up. I thought I could take this opportunity to be a bit restrained. But then! When I got to the drink section, I saw new drinks on the shelf: Dubai Chocolate Flavored Milk Tea!!! As someone who loves chocolate and trying new things, how could I miss this! Original price 39 NTD Then my daughter wanted yogurt drinks, and there were new ones too. I couldn't wait to try the drinks when I got home. 🥤 Dubai Chocolate Flavored Milk Tea The first sip, why does it taste like sesame? There's no sesame in the ingredients. Another sip, it has a nutty flavor, but I can't really taste the pistachio flavor that Dubai Chocolate should have. It's good but a bit sweet. So pouring it into a cup with ice tastes better. It's not a bad buy for me. 💻 Online reviews People say it tastes like 'traditional Taiwanese sesame paste drink'. Chocolate lovers complain that the chocolate isn't strong enough, and pistachio lovers complain that the pistachio flavor is masked by the sesame/sesame paste flavor, leaving both sides unhappy. 🥛 U-YES Big Fruit Yogurt Drink: Mixed Fruit Flavor It was a bit sour when I first drank it, with strong pineapple and citrus flavors. I found there were fruit chunks inside, so I poured it into a cup. My daughter wanted to add ice, so I added ice too. The fruit chunks inside were orange, living up to its name as a 'Big Fruit Yogurt'. My daughter said it tasted better after the ice melted.
