Thinking of writing a novel recently
I'm planning to write a novel about a future person going back in time to alter a scientist's life. However, I'm unsure about the market or reader preferences, so I'd like to ask for your advice 🙏. I've already figured out the paradoxes and the overall structure, but I haven't written the plot between characters yet =)

Reader preferences, huh... A lot of people read those really bad ones that look like AI-generated novels (?!) It seems like they dig a bunch of holes, and some are filled, some aren't. You could try writing one, or ask AI, or even have it simulate a plot for your novel~ Lately, I've really enjoyed role-playing (or acting out scenarios) with AI, and it's comparable to an interesting novel. If you're looking for idea generation, I recommend XMind mind mapping.

Have you thought about the narrative arc? Is it the type that tells the story from beginning to end in a straightforward manner, or the type that starts from the middle of the story and connects the whole narrative through time to achieve a closed loop? Personally, I feel the second type would be more engaging, but it would require more writing skill. Also, for themes involving time paradoxes, you need to consider how to explain them as simply as possible, otherwise, readers might get confused!

The structure seems vast. If each part is independent but shares the same worldview, the logic between them must be consistent, which really tests writing skills.
