Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Under Renovation)

Volume 9 (Rumors Part 2 & Early Closing? Part 1) Previously: The boss rushed over from the counter! Boss: Hurry up! We're a bit behind schedule! Still need to clear the tea machine, followed by cleaning... Fridge under the salad bar, can be prepped for refills! Need to add ice packs for cooling before closing to keep ingredients fresh! Stored in the large fridge, it took quite some effort! Finally got about half of it cleaned up... checked the time, it was 12:10 AM! The boss beckoned me to the counter for further instructions. Things to note before clocking out: What's left is cleaning the dining area... Even though it's close to closing time, there are still sporadic customers, so cleaning needs to be done section by section! There are 12 tables in total on the 1st floor, with large and small tables that can be combined or separated as needed. Convenient for accommodating unexpected guest counts. Near the counter are tables 1-4, next to 1-4 are attached small tables, usually used as 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, and the other half are tables 5-12! The boss told me to clean tables 1-4 first, then mop the floor! Then switch to cleaning tables 5-12! While sweeping and mopping... There were still some walk-in customers dining. Seeing I was overwhelmed, the boss went to help with hosting himself, allowing me to quickly finish tidying up. When the boss saw I was almost done cleaning... He looked at the time, 12:50 AM... and led me to the shop entrance! Pulled the plug on the small sign and hooked it in to secure it! Also turned off the light switch for the large sign. He asked me to ask the customers if they still wanted corn soup or the salad bar. Some pre-baked items were still unused. To be continued...
