Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Revise)

Volume 18 (Awkward Part 1) Recap: (OS: Oh no! I walked right into it…) She's my best friend. The worst is when the air suddenly gets quiet! After about 3-5 minutes, Xiao Pei broke the silence first! Xiao Pei blushed a little… Xiao Pei: She quietly said thank you to me! Me: Why thank you? Xiao Pei: Thank you because you just complimented me! Me: I hadn't even processed it yet, my mind was blank, wondering, When did I compliment her? I didn't say she was pretty, Or that she had a good figure, or… . Oh~ I remember! I complimented her work ethic! She didn't wait for me to ask further! Xiao Pei quickly found an excuse to add me on LINE! After adding me... She quickly ran off in the direction of her home! Me: Such a strange colleague! Before leaving the ice shop… I overheard… Ice shop owner: It's rare for her to treat someone! And to someone she's not even that close to! Looks like there's more to this? I'll definitely have to ask her why when I get the chance! Time came to the weekend! Today there were three people working the floor, Because it was a holiday, and the night market was crowded… So the second-floor dining area was opened! Before I knew it… I was assigned to the second floor! Although the second floor is similar to the first floor environment… But taking orders, sending them down, and clearing tables all require a trip downstairs… Bread rolls, creamy mushroom soup, need to be delivered from the first floor to the second! Before long… they ushered the customers one after another… All to the second floor in less than 10 minutes… 16 tables plus 6 small tables upstairs… all full! Total… To be continued…
