Why not buy an iPASS?
There's this classmate I always walk home with, and we take the light rail together. But he often has to buy a ticket because he doesn't have a monthly pass. He says he doesn't care about the money, but dude... if you don't care about the money, don't ask me to buy your ticket either 😅, go buy it yourself!!!! You should just flat-out refuse someone like that who only causes trouble for others! If they claim they don't care about the money, tell them to go queue up and buy the tickets themselves and experience firsthand what inefficiency means. You're way too nice. If this happens again, just turn around and walk away, got it?
