Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Rev.)

Volume 29 (Late Night Snack Part 1) Recap: Xiao Pei: If you don't want to eat it, don't! What's with all the questions? I don't know what's up with Xiao Pei! Me: I mean! If I can't finish one serving, it's a waste! It's not that I don't want to eat! Xiao Pei: Then what's the problem? I'll eat it for you! Seeing the troubled look on my face, Xiao Pei immediately asked... Xiao Pei: Do you have any other questions or concerns? Me: Uh... So if I can't finish it, you said you could eat it! But what if I've already eaten...? Hearing this, Xiao Pei pouted and mumbled softly, 'I didn't even complain.' Xiao Pei: Couldn't you have just gotten a small bowl at first! And scooped out the amount you wanted to eat! Me: Right! And speaking of which, it's fine to go for ice cream! But eating ice cream every day isn't good for a girl's health, right? Xiao Pei: You're not a girl, how would you know if it's bad! As long as I'm happy! Me: Going for ice cream after work is fine! But don't do it too often, or you'll get tired of it! Xiao Pei: What do you mean? Me: Ice cream is all sweet. If I keep eating sweet things, I might get tired of it! If we make plans again next time, let's have something savory! Xiao Pei: All ice cream is sweet, there's no savory kind! Seeing her confused look, I found it both infuriating and amusing! Me: I was talking about savory food! Xiao Pei: Oh~ Oh~~ I see! Finally understood what I meant! Hearing her exclaim, in a panic! I tried to cover her mouth, then realized I was being rude! Shh! Don't just yell! If someone who doesn't know hears it, they'll think I'm bullying you? Seeing me flustered, Xiao Pei burst out laughing~ Turns out... To be continued...
