Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Maintenance)

Volume 32 (Obsession - Part 1) Previously: Don't eat cold food with other things! Xiao Pei: Who were you just talking to? Me: I asked the boss if eating hot and cold things together would make you sick! Let's eat quickly! It won't taste good when it gets cold! After eating... Xiao Pei felt much better! Me: Feeling better after eating! Don't go home too late! A new day! Xiao Pei seems a bit strange today! Me: What's wrong? If something's up, just say it! Xiao Pei hesitates... Me: If you want to say something, just say it! Don't stutter! Xiao Pei: I want to be like you? Me: ? Like me? Xiao Pei: How to handle problems and adapt at work? Me: Shakes head! You're kidding, right? Xiao Pei: No! I'm serious! Me: I'm just a beginner! Wouldn't that put me in a difficult spot? Xiao Pei: The way you handle things! It's different from how the person who taught me before did it! I like this way! Me: ...I just thought it should be done this way! I didn't overthink anything else! Aren't you overestimating me? Xiao Pei: No matter what... you have to teach me...! The boss even said we should learn from you! Why does Xiao Pei sound so convincing today? But I can't find any flaws...! Me: Then... we can learn from each other! How about that? Seeing she couldn't sway me, Xiao Pei immediately agreed. Xiao Pei: Okay! I'll listen to you! At this moment, Xiao Pei! It's like a child getting candy! Seeing Xiao Pei's reaction, I couldn't help but roll my eyes upwards. I've probably rolled them dozens of times... Xiao Pei... To be continued...
