Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Completed)

Volume 34 (Obsession Part 2) Recap: Me: You two... Why the long faces! They glanced at each other! In unison: The cleaning tasks the boss assigned are too much, and it's impossible to finish today. When you weren't here before, forgetting other cleaning duties, just the regular workload... was already tough! Neither of us could even finish 1/3! Me: Oh~ So you don't have to do the cleaning? Upon hearing my reply, their faces turned extremely grim! In unison: Ah! We just can't finish! As I spoke, I looked at the boss. (The boss heard the commotion outside and looked over, coincidentally seeing me signal!) Me: So you're saying you can't finish today? Although the boss assigned many cleaning tasks! He didn't demand it had to be completed today! Besides... it's not busy right now! That's why he assigned these cleaning duties. If it were really busy! He would also consider the situation! Yet you two haven't even started, and you've already decided you can't finish. And you yourselves said, you couldn't finish before when I wasn't here! Wasn't it because you two were too busy that you looked for me? Now that I'm here, what are you afraid of? The two women exchanged glances, looking at me as if they had something to say, but swallowed it back. Something felt off. They couldn't quite articulate it... Just then, the boss's gaze met mine. Seeing the boss looking our way, they stopped their complaints. Their look towards me changed... Me: Since you two have no objections! To be continued...
