Weird Childhood Stories 1

I think I was in the upper grades of elementary school when I could go home for lunch on Wednesdays. Finishing homework was a must. After finishing, I was a bit bored, so I rode my bike around the neighborhood. I met a girl from the area. It was a bit rainy that day. The girl showed me the snails she had just caught. So I praised her, saying, "Wow, that's amazing! You caught so many snails!" After a few pleasantries, I knew what my entertainment for the day would be. I went home and took out a plastic container, about 15x15 cm. I rode my bike with the container to catch big snails. Today's haul was a box full of big snails. To avoid being discovered, I hid it in the cupboard first. But I couldn't resist the urge to show off. I showed it to my dad. I was expecting him to praise me. My dad's reaction was, "That's so disgusting!" Full of snails, full of snail slime. Well, later my dad put it somewhere and I don't know where it went. In the end, everyone remembered the haul, but the results disappeared somewhere. A perfect end to the afternoon.
