Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse ( In Progress )

Volume 47 (Troublemaker - Part 2) Recap: I picked up her hand... Me: Don't worry! He'll beg me later! Xiao Pei: Bow your head to him, and it'll be over! Why... After hearing Xiao Pei, I didn't explain further! I turned and walked towards the owner in the back. At that moment, the owner had just finished a busy period... Taking a break, enjoying the breeze outside the back door... Seeing me approach, he wondered what was up? Owner: What's wrong? Me: I want to quit after today! The owner's eyes widened... What happened? Owner: Is there something you need to handle at home? If so! I can give you some time off! You can come back after it's settled! Me: Nothing at home! Owner continued: Are you not used to the work here? Is the workload too heavy? That shouldn't be it. If you weren't used to it! You wouldn't have come back within the first three days! The owner kept talking to himself... Me: Neither! Someone told me to just work until today? Owner: Still looking puzzled. He thought for a moment? Owner: The boss's wife told you not to come tomorrow? If that's the case! I'll go talk to her about it! Seeing me shake my head again, the owner, anxious as a ant on a hot pan, asked: Are Xiao Pei and the others ostracizing you? Me: No! It's the young boss who told me not to come to work tomorrow! The owner listened in surprise! Owner: Who gave him the authority? Tell me the whole story... And so it went... After listening, the owner slammed the table... I'll handle this! You must come to work tomorrow! Tomorrow... then... To be continued...
