Don't reply to messages when you're sleepy
I'm the type of person who easily dozes off and falls asleep. There was a time when I replied to a friend's message before I was fully awake and then went back to sleep. When I woke up again, my friend replied to me, and I called her an idiot. Wait, what?! I don't remember doing that at all. Looking at the content of the reply, I really, really did. Another time, I read a message someone sent before bed. I woke up to find that I had sent a face with heart eyes emoji. What's more, it was to someone of the opposite sex. I was so embarrassed, I could have died. Fortunately, they didn't seem to mind, haha.

I agree with the OP's warning. One time, I was using my phone in bed at night and fell asleep. The next day, I found out I had accidentally tapped on the paid store within the app. It was something I would absolutely never buy when I was awake. 😵💫😵💫😵💫 Several hundred yuan just vanished like that.
