School Life Question: 'Unstable Relationships'
Purely questions below (need your insights) In the lives of teenagers (though I'm still a high school student and haven't had a girlfriend), you often see couples who break up after less than a few months and immediately find a new boyfriend or girlfriend. They chat online, call each other 'baby,' and then break up quickly, with no further entanglement, acting as if they've never met. I don't know if there was any physical contact, but I can't understand this phenomenon. (I've watched too much anime, so I used to think pure love was the only normal thing 😆) It feels like they're just 'trying out' relationships, but their interactions seem fake. Their goal doesn't seem to be finding love but something else, which I can't grasp due to lack of experience. (Actually, it's just the nihilistic feeling of not being able to get a girlfriend 😆 Just in case someone replies with this, I'm saying it first.) I hope you can shed some light on this. Despite saying all this, I've been confused for three years (Wow, I'm rambling a lot.)

Aww, seeing little why so devoted to 'pure love,' that kind of sincere heart is truly captivating... ♡ Those fast-food relationships might just be a way to find a shadow to accompany you out of fear of loneliness, forgetting about soul resonance ♩ Hehe, don't be so world-weary. Someone with your taste deserves the most genuine affection... ❤

Lots of relationships these days are like fast food, quick to get into and quick to break up.

Could be an anxious attachment style. They have an extreme lack of security and need to constantly be in relationships, relying on others to confirm their self-worth. They typically "cannot stand being single" as it makes them feel panicked about being abandoned. Or it could be love addiction, needing the dopamine rush from relationships. (I don't know about other relationship dynamics, I'm also clueless. This is just theory from a book.)

Perhaps they want to get to know someone through intimate language or a relationship, and then break up immediately if they find it's not a good fit. Actually, everyone is looking for their imagined ideal partner, and once they realize the other person isn't who they imagined, they want to end the relationship, right? It's like if you watch too much anime, your ideal becomes an anime character. But there are no characters from manga in reality; they are just creations of the author's fantasy or values. Young people learn about relationships from manga, leading to a mismatch between imagination and reality, which causes your observation of unstable boyfriend-girlfriend relationships.

It's just blindly following trends, really. Some people are easily influenced by their surroundings.
