At the self-checkout payment machine in a US-style supermarket, I completely forgot my license plate number... 🈲🙈
Today, during a break from work, I drove to a US-style supermarket to quickly grab some daily necessities. Little did I know it would turn into the most embarrassing moment of the year! After buying my stuff and heading to my car, I stood in front of the automatic payment machine to enter my license plate number, but my mind went completely blank... 'Uh? What was my license plate number?!' After trying two or three times and getting 'vehicle not found' errors, I started breaking out in a cold sweat. To make matters worse, there was a long line of people waiting to pay behind me, and everyone was staring. I could even hear some people whispering. At that moment, I just wanted the ground to swallow me whole! I finally had to quietly step aside and pull up a photo of my car registration on my phone to save myself. Getting old really makes you face reality. Has anyone else had one of those 'social death' moments where you suddenly forget something super familiar? Send help! 😭
