Suddenly Treated to a Meal

When I went to a noodle shop near my house for lunch today, it was crowded, so I ended up sharing a table with an older gentleman. We happened to order right before and after each other, which led to the server bringing my noodle soup to his side and his side dish to mine. We ended up pushing each other's food back to its rightful owner. After we both finished eating, the gentleman happened to be checking out right in front of me. After he paid, he noticed I was behind him and offered to treat me to my meal. Coincidentally, I'm a bit short on cash this month due to the start of the semester. Even though a bowl of noodles isn't expensive, I really felt incredibly lucky.
