Japanese 2ch Ghost Story | The 4th Floor Called the 5th Floor🖐️

Three years ago, I lived in an apartment building that had no '4th floor' and was nominally called the 5th floor. My young daughter at the time often played with an 'older sister' whom I couldn't see. I initially thought it was just a child's imagination, but upon closer observation, my daughter seemed to be genuinely conversing back and forth with someone. One rainy day, I suddenly noticed many small handprints on the window next to the kitchen. Thinking it was my daughter's doing, I reached out to wipe them, only to discover— The handprints were all on the *outside* of the window. This was actually four stories up, and there was no balcony or anything to stand on outside the window. I grew increasingly frightened and moved out earlier than planned. Afterward, I had an exorcism performed at my family's suggestion. The priest speculated that children sometimes unintentionally attract 'those kinds of things.' Perhaps my daughter wouldn't let go of that 'older sister,' so she left the handprints to let me know she was really there. ...Leaving handprints as a way to announce your presence is just terrifying.
