Ghost Story

The first night I moved into this old house, I found a thin crack on my bedroom wall. Out of curiosity, I put my eye up to it. On the other side of the crack, a bloodshot eyeball was staring intently at me. I screamed and stumbled back, only to hear a hoarse voice from inside the wall: "Newcomer, don't be scared... I was just checking if you were asleep." "This wall is so thin, I can hear you even when you turn over." "By the way, was that woman in the red dress next to you last night your wife?" I felt a chill run down my spine – I had moved in alone. And now, the voice from inside the wall suddenly softened: "Don't make a sound... she seems to be crawling towards you."
