Watching Ads Only Earns You a Penny 😑

When you use an item like an EXP potion, a button to watch an ad pops up. You have to watch a rather lengthy ad, and in return, you get 100-300 gems. It seems like a pretty easy way to earn. However, if you actually calculate it, you'll realize the rewards from watching ads are hardly worth it. Converted to New Taiwan Dollars, it's about the value of one cent. Yes! You read that right, one cent. To put it in perspective, if you need 2500 gold to redeem a 100 NTD convenience store gift card, that means you need 250,000 gems. So, 1 NTD is equivalent to 2500 gems. If you get 250 gems from watching an ad, that's roughly equivalent to one cent. Still, it's much better compared to games like '祕寶挖挖哇' (Secret Treasure Dig) or 'line Sudoku'. In those games, you might dig up 2 gold coins, only for an ad to play. You think you're lucky, but upon calculation, gold in LINE games is worth about 1 NTD for every 500 gold. So, you're only getting 1/250th of a dollar, which is 0.004 NTD. 😑 Can you really keep watching ads like these?
