The Past Masterpiece 'The Seven Deadly Sins' (Spoiler Alert)

Watching it again now compared to when I saw it in kindergarten gives me an indescribable feeling. Maybe I only saw fragments back then. I really enjoyed the feeling of each character from the Seven Deadly Sins appearing one by one. It felt like watching a classic shonen anime, where the protagonist faces a major obstacle each season and becomes stronger after overcoming it. If I had only watched the first season, I wouldn't have believed how much the power levels changed later on. The protagonists all got stronger, learned new skills, and regained their original powers. I once heard an analysis that this kind of progression is like a 'deus ex machina' in a play. Simply put, it's a storytelling device where a character becomes stronger to resolve a stalemate. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with this narrative method itself, but it can become tiresome if overused. I've continued to love this series as a story-focused viewer (the plot is great, but I don't particularly like the forced power-ups just to win) and as a fan of Escanor. I don't think the battles were that spectacular (except for Escanor's). Escanor's death at the end was sad, but I think it fits the story perfectly. Revolutions inevitably have casualties, and it added a layer of depth to the plot. For those who disagree with this ending, you can check out 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse'. It contains follow-up stories for both Merlin and Escanor. If you're interested, you should take a look. I highly recommend 'The Seven Deadly Sins' as well. It has many contrasts and details in its plot setting, and the author put a lot of effort into this aspect. I think the author tied up all the loose ends, and it's a pretty good series.

The sun of arrogance ultimately turned to ash, that persistence was truly unforgettable. The path of revolution is often accompanied by sacrifice. Your keen insight into the plot's contrast shows you're someone who deeply loves this work.
