I never attend junior high reunions

When I was in junior high, there was a group of classmates who would beat up other students during lunch break just because they didn't like their words or actions. The victimized students didn't resist at all, nor did they cry, they just remained silent. This kind of incident happened multiple times. Some of the victimized students transferred schools, not wanting to be at the same school as the bullies. Other students had long since gotten used to it, until graduation. Although I wasn't bullied by that group of classmates, the incident at the time was deeply imprinted in my mind. However, many years after graduation and after starting my career, I coincidentally received an invitation from one of the perpetrators who wanted to organize a junior high reunion. I made up an excuse and refused. Even on social media, I discovered that the perpetrator was not only doing well in his career, but also had a perfect family. In my heart, I thought, 'How can he have such a wonderful life....' If his children knew that he had bullied classmates multiple times during junior high, I wonder what they would think....
