Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Mood
It's the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it's rare for me to be on an employee trip abroad instead of staying home with the kids. I'm still thinking about my family back in Taiwan during the trip... feeling a little melancholic.

Mid-Autumn Festival is meant to be a time for family reunions, so it's hard not to feel a bit melancholic being away from home. Even though I'm here for work, my thoughts are with my family, and I'm sure they'll feel my love. Please take good care of yourselves and don't let this longing affect your enjoyment of the trip.

Is it against company policy to not allow employees to bring family on company trips, even if they pay the difference? I've heard of company trips abroad where people could pay extra to bring their family.
