Taichung Four Seasons Department Store Donghai Branch to Close on 10/4! Final Clearance Sale and Bonus Point Usage Notice

Four Seasons Department Store, a budget-friendly lifestyle goods retailer founded 32 years ago, will close its last remaining physical store in Taiwan, the Donghai Branch, on October 4, 2026, officially marking the end of an era. Clearance Sale: From now until October 4th, enjoy 15% off all white-label products. Select beauty items and inventory may have even deeper discounts. Member Benefits: Member bonus points must be redeemed in full before the store closes on October 4th. Store Information: Located at No. 17, Xinxing Road, Longjing District, Taichung City (original store). Growth and Closure: Founded in 1994, the brand focused on high cost-performance. At its peak, it operated 8 branches in the central-southern region with over 600,000 members. Factors such as high rent (estimated NT$350,000/month), competition from large beauty retailers, the rise of e-commerce, and staffing challenges increased operational burdens, ultimately leading to the complete cessation of business.
