The Last Bus

Ah Ming takes the same bus home every night. He works at a small restaurant with a modest salary, and his biggest dream is to one day open his own shop. But every day when he gets home, he's too tired and just wants to sleep. One day, on his way home from work, he suddenly remembered a promise he made to himself: "I'll learn for at least half an hour every day." He was really tired that day. He almost fell asleep on the bus. But he still took out his phone and watched cooking tutorials for half an hour. The next day was the same. The third day was also the same. Sometimes he only watched for ten minutes, and sometimes he was so tired he couldn't understand anything at all. Six months later, he started cooking for friends on his days off. A year later, he rented a very small stall. On the first day of opening, he only had seven customers. He sat in the empty shop, feeling a bit disappointed. The second day, he still opened on time. The third day was the same. A few months later, people in the neighborhood started to know about this little shop. One night, a regular customer said to him after finishing his meal: "You know what? When I first came, there was almost no one in the shop." Ah Ming smiled. "I know." The customer asked: "Then why didn't you give up?" He looked out the door. "Because before, I was waiting for success every day." "Later I realized, what I really needed to do was open the shop every day."
